TIRE CENTRE SECTION
Well-maintained tires go hand in hand with reduced tread wear and better traction on the roads. Minimized friction on the asphalt makes the engine work less in terms of resistance and saves fuel. The result: you reduce the harmful effects on the environment.

Your tires are the only point of contact between your car and the road. That’s why new, well-maintained tires are crucial for proper traction and safety. Less worn tires don’t create as much friction on the road, which results in greater fuel efficiency. That’s good for you and the environment.
- Inferior handling and stability
- A loss of fluidity of control when driving
- Interference with thermal radiation
- Less performance on snowy or wet surfaces

- Watch your tire pressure. Your ideal tire pressure is written in your car. Properly inflated tires reduce fuel consumption, improve handling and don’t wear out as quickly, so avoid adding too much or too little pressure.
- Check for wear. Use the wear indicator found in the tread of each tire.
- Check wheel alignment frequently to prevent premature wear. Rotate your tires regularly.
- Get into the habit of changing your tires whenever they become worn to give you the best grip and shortest braking distance possible.
- Visually inspect your tire treads as often as possible for wear or foreign objects.
- Avoid driving over obstacles (like sidewalks, elevated roadsides, etc.) that can deform or collapse the structure of your tire.
1 Service.
- Measure your tire pressure to avoid problems on the roads.
- Regularly check your wheel alignment to avoid premature tread wear.
- Replace your tires when they’re worn for guaranteed better traction on the roads, shorter braking distances and reduced skidding in wet conditions.
2 Eco-savings.
- Lower your fuel consumption. Tires in good shape ensure a smooth ride, preventing your engine from having to overwork.
- Reduce your CO2 emissions. The less fuel you burn unnecessarily, the less CO2 you release into the atmosphere.
- Increase your safety at the wheel. Well-maintained, aligned and inflated tires will keep you on the right track.
3 Recycle.
- Contribute toward remoulding new tires. Help make the manufacturing of new tires possible to minimize the use of raw materials harmful to the environment.
- Participate in recycling tires into asphalt, carpet or even synthetic surfaces for sports grounds.
