Body Structure
Avalon's stylish body structure is strengthened to help meet the latest side impact standards, accounting for higher-riding vehicles such as SUVs. In the event of collision, reinforced members, pillars, panels and doors absorb impact energy, then distribute it around and away from the passenger cabin for enhanced impact protection.
Powerplant
Generating an impressive 268 horsepower and 248 lb/ft of torque, Avalon delivers power and performance in equal measure. The 3.5-litre, 24-valve V6 is equipped with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) for enviable high-speed torque, excellent fuel economy, and lower emissions.
Seats
Precision-engineered and cloaked in rich premium leather, Avalon's seats transport you in comfort and style. For the driver, first-class comfort is enhanced by an 8-way Power Adjustable seat with Power Lumbar Support, Sliding Armrest, and Driver Seat Memory.Front passengers are pampered with 8-way Power Adjustments. Rear seats, made roomier by Avalon's flat floor, feature Reclining Backrests, Adjustable Headrests, and a Fold-Down Centre Armrest ensuring that every seat is the best in the house.
